Answer:

see it is saying that squares are placed in a rectangle it means area of a square= area of rectangle

Step-by-step explanation:

so the no. of squares are 25 and each perimeter is 8 cm then are of all square s will be 25×8 which is 200cm.

Therefore, the area of rectangle is 200cm.

SEE I HAVE SAID THE CORRECT ANSWER SOO I HIGHLY OBLIGE AND REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE

SOLUTION 1:-

Given:

•25 squares each of perimeter 8cm are placed adjacent to each other to form a rectangle of a length of 50cm.

To find:

The area of the rectangle formed.

Explanation:

We know that, Perimeter of square;

=) 4 × side

=) 4 × side= 8

=) side= 8/4

=) side= 2cm

So,

Area of square: side × side

=) 2cm × 2cm

=) 4cm²

We have, 25 squares

then,

25 × 4cm² = 100cm²

Now,

Area of rectangle:

Length × Breadth.

  • Length= 50cm
  • Breadth= 2cm

Therefore,

=) 50cm × 2cm

=) 100cm²

SOLUTION 2:-

Given:

The perimeter of square is 64m.The area of rectangle is 6m² less than the are of the given square it the length of the of the rectangle is 25m.

To find:

Their breadth.

Explanation:

Perimeter of square:

4 × side

=) 4 × side= 64m

=) side= 64/4

=) side= 16m

Area of square= side × side

=) 16m× 16m

=) 256m²

According to the question:

•Area of rectangle is less than the given area of square

=) 256m² - 6m²

=) 250m²

Area of rectangle:

Length × breadth

Let the breadth be R m

  • Length=25m
  • Breadth= R m

Therefore,

=)[25m × R m]= 250m²

=) R= 250m²/25m

=) R= 10m

Thus,

The Breadth is 10m.
