by angle sum property,

2<ACE=180-40=140

<BCE=180-70-75=180-145

<BCE=35

in ∆BEC,

BY exterior angle property,

<AEC=<EBC+<ECB

<EBC=70-35=35

<EBC=35

WHEN <EBC=<BCE=35

by isosceles triangle property,

BE=CE
