ΔAPN ≅ ΔAPM if In the figure, PM=PN, PM perpendicular AB and PN perpendicular AC

Step-by-step explanation:

Complete Question :

Show that AN = AM  or ΔAPN ≅ ΔAPM

Comparing ΔAPN & ΔAPM

AP = AP  ( common)

PN  = PM  ( given)

∠ANP  = ∠AMP  = 90°

=> AN = AM  ( as AN² = AP² - PN² = AP² - PM² = AM²)

=> ΔAPN ≅ ΔAPM
