Pneumatic Bones are those kinds of bones which have air spaces in them. Birds fly so they must be light. These pneumatic bones decrease the weight of birds and allow them to fly.

Pneumatic bones are less in weight due to presence of air cells. They are hollow in nature and so they are helpful in flight of birds.
If pneumatic bones were absent in birds then birds would find it very difficult to fly due to more weight.
