Step-by-step explanation:

Let the pocket money of Ram be 6x and of ravi be 5x.

Let the expenditure of Ram be 4y and of Ravi be 3y.

The amount of money saver by Ram=

6x-4y

~ 6x-4y=50. ....(i)

The amount of money saved by Ravi=

5x-3y

~5x-3y=50. .....(ii)

On solving eq. i and ii :

18x-12y=150

20x-12y=200

(-) ( +) (-)

______________

-2x. =-50

x=25

Pocket money of Ram= 150

" " " Ravi= 250

THIS IS HOW WE DO IT....THERE IS NO OTHER WAY

Answer:

pocket money of Ram = 150

pocket money of Ravi = 125

Step-by-step explanation:

pocket money = x

expenditure = y

pocket money of Ram = 6x

pocket money of Ravi = 5x

expenditure of Ram = 4x

expenditure of Ravi = 3x

both saves 50rs

therefore for ram 6x-4x=50

therefore for ravi5x-3x=50

18x-12y=150

20x-12y=200

-2x=-50

x=25

therefore pocket money of Ram = 150

pocket money of Ravi = 125
