poem is a piece of writing in which the words are chosen for their beauty and sound and are
carefully arranged, often in short lines which rhyme.
How to write a poem?
• What is the poem about? (thing, person, write a line for the city etc.)
• Write two adjectives for the topic you have taken.
• What it does (activity/behaviour etc).
• Repeat the first line again.
• Write two-three more adjectives for it.
• Where it goes/lives/dwells/is found.
• Write two-three more adjectives.
• Repeat the first line again.
So be a poet, if you cannot work on the above mentioned points then try to compose a poem
keeping in mind the rhyme scheme aabb/abab/abba/abab..... You may also take an idea from
