so in this sentence its trying to explain that the kindness that has been showed is not necessarily to show again and again it is possible that sometime for ur own good kindness shd'nt be shown ....

The poet want us to show our kindness whenever we are given an oppurtunity,as we may not pass the same way with the same oppurtunity.
