Be tender with your hands on branches
- Swarup Banerjee
Be tender with your hands on branches;
Make them no fall once more.
Be gentle with your legs on grass;
Let them not shed again in sore.
As I and as you have been so kind
To needs we have in life,
Bear it strong so in mind
That we can gather in rife
Longer a journey that we march.
Tender hearts shall we have
Or in heaven's scorch
Shall we burn our future no naive.
Air that blows, water that flows;
Gather around and defend.
"Be kind" they call and glows
Greater than the most potent.
