‘A healthy mind resides in a healthy body’. The Millennium School, Kurukshetra  conducted poem and essay writing competition for the classes I-V and VI-XII  respectively as per the guidelines of the Central Board of School Education (CBSE) taking forward the nation-wide “Fit India Movement” Launched by the Honorable Prime Minister on 29 August 2019. The school is celebrating “Fitness Week” in which an array of activities is being held in order to enhance the Sports Quotient among the students.The students of classes I- V composed poems and the learners of classes VI-VIII penned down their views on the theme “Fit India School” during the English periods. All the students exhibited their creativity and awareness on the relevant issue i.e. healthy very effectively.  The poems were recited and the essays were read out to share the ideology and understanding of each learner. All the students were extremely zealous to participate in this competition. Principal Dr. A. K. Singh appreciated the students for their creative thoughts and encouraged them to adopt healthy habits viz. taking healthy food and performing exercises  in their life.  He said that only healthy body and mind can lead the nation toward success, hence all must be aware of their physical and mental health.
