Meghalaya
As I opened my eyes
I woke up there…
the valley of no people 
beneath the high sky
where lies the deep blue silences,

I could see the clouds kissing you,
I could see the wind witnessing the moment
I could see the fog rolling down the valley,
and the blankets of flowers shrouded in mist,
I could hear the rain telling you the tragedies of trees,
as you shivered in the cold drizzle,
you look more beautiful,
yes…you do!

I take a lone walk through the mysteries in you,
as I move forward 
I could feel,
every step I take is more deeper,
every step I walk
takes me into you, 
I could feel myself alive;
I could feel my home within you,
basking in the shafts of light 
I could feel my mom caressing my hair,

I want to sleep in your arms forever
I want to listen to your lullaby,
that hush the defeaning pain within me, 
I want to see your green eyes every time I wake up,

Nature; you listen when I talk
you let me sink in you,
I dance in your hymn of serenity
I jump in your rhythm of harmony,
you taught me to embrace the happiness 
without knowing what lies ahead,
with every single step
you pushed me towards the world without comfort,
come..as you say, 
join the unpredictable 
life is right there, out in the open…!
