I sit here in my favourite place,

Where it’s peaceful and green.

My little slice of heaven,

Just a short way down the stream.

The leaves are slowly falling,

From the ancient willow trees.

Everything is quiet,

Apart from buzzing bees.

The rocks are grey,

The trees are tall.

The soil wet,

The flowers small.

I play there in secret,

By myself – all alone.

When I’m woken from my dream,

I find that I’m back home.
