S. R. Ranganathan
I will tell you a story
of a wise man,
Who had a library
and a handy pen.
He used it a lot,
night and day,
you could even say,
as he worked and fought
for the freedom of all
not to be left alone
if a book is what they want.
S. R. Ranganathan was his name,
his strive though, to spread the word.
For the good of many
he called for a better world
Where if only there is will
One will find the way
to the knowledge well
which among the books will stay.
