ਕਵਿਤਾ : ਰੱਖੜੀ :-
ਭਾਈ-ਭੈਣ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ,
ਕਰਦਾ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ ਬਾਰ-ਬਾਰ।
ਭੈਣਾਂ ਭਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਬੰਦਧਿ ਰੱਖੜੀ,
ਤੇ ਲੈ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਇਕ ਇਨਾਮ ਵੱਖਰੀ।
ਖਿਲਾਉਂਦੀ ਉਹ ਆਉਣੇ ਭਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਠਾਇ,
ਰੱਬ ਨੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਜੋੜੀ ਬਨਾਇ।
ਭਾਈ-ਭੈਣ ਦਾ ਇਹ ਤਿਉਹਾਰ,
ਕਰਦਾ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ ਬਾਰ-ਬਾਰ।
ਭਾਈ-ਭੈਣ ਕਰਦੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਲੜਾਈ,
ਪਰ ਪਿਆਰ ਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਓਹਨਾ ਨੂ ਇਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਭਾਈ।
ਉਹ ਨੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਲੜਾਈ,
ਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਉਹ ਪੂਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ।
ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਕਪੜੇ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਉਹ ਨਵੇਂ ਨਵੇਂ।
ਰੱਬ ਇਸ ਜੋੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਲਾਮਤ ਰੱਖੇ ।
