Roald Dahl took a survey at each house. While he entered he only saw children in front of the tv doing no productive work. He tells the parents about the bad effects of the tv on the children. And then questions the parents ‘How they used to spend time before the tv was invented?’. The reply was quite slow and loud ‘They used to read’
