a) the roads represent the choices in our lives. once choice is taken or a road is chosen we cannot travel back.
b) this means the season is autumn where leaves fall. this represents old-age.
c) he was asking because he couldn't travel on both roads simutaneosly.
d) he stand long as much as he could to look on the forward path of the roads.
