An idol has not a single thought in its head, even if it’s got one. So I believe the idol word should be edited to celebrity or crush, if romantic thoughts are to be expressed. If modified to favourite person ever, then that would help, because the living person would be able to read and study and approve the poetry.
In some cases, concerning a beautiful lady, the face is the focus, so a poet describes her hair and her eyes, the rosy cheeks, her soft and inviting lips, perhaps her pearly white teeth. The female form has its own descriptions to convey beauty. Then there’s inner beauty, perhaps portraying good deeds, or noble intentions, or great expectations.
So whether male or female, young or old, it could be that a poet would consider the complete life’s journey of something thought of or highly regarded as special.
If taken to an extreme, then the one in love with a celebrity, for example, could pray to God, ‘Please tell me… what will this celebrity’s life turn out like in the years ahead?’ Then God could oblige with a list of good works and exploits and the receiving of awards or special honours or provide epitaphs from those who told the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth…
Imagine if God couldn’t point the finger at anything serious or shocking. Then that would be worthy of consideration to a poet wishing to honour someone special. In that regard, we get Jesus receiving such tributes like no other human being could. Hence all the wonderful hymns and poems…. mark plz brainlest
