Given :  Point (4,3)

To Find :  Point (4,3) lies on  which of the below  line

3x+7y=27

7x+2y=47

3x+4y=24

5x-4y=1

Solution:

Any point lying on a line will satisfy the Equation of the line.

3x+7y=27

Substitute  x= 4  and y = 3 in LHS

LHS

= 3(4) + 7(3)

= 12 + 21

= 33

≠ RHS

7x+2y=47

Substitute  x= 4  and y = 3 in LHS

LHS

= 7(4) + 2(3)

=28 + 6

= 34

≠ RHS

3x+4y=24

Substitute  x= 4  and y = 3 in LHS

LHS

= 3(4) + 4(3)

= 12 + 12

= 24

= RHS

Hence Point (4,3) lies on the  line 3x+4y=24

5x-4y=1

Substitute  x= 4  and y = 3 in LHS

LHS

= 5(4) - 4(3)

= 20 - 12

= 8

≠ RHS

so Point (4,3) lies on the  line 3x+4y=24
