Answer:

2r + y - 3 =0 and 3r + 5y - 7 = 0

Multiply 1st eq by 5 and subtract from 2nd eq

you get r = 8/7

put this value of r in any eq you get y = 5/7

Since both r and y are positive, the point lies in 1st quadrant
