1.Large factories .

2. Vehicles and

3.burning of woods for preparing food.

Air pollution is persistent problem that exist in the environment and defined as the contamination of air.

Pollutant are the contaminating particles or undesired particles in the air.

Some of air pollutants in our locality are:-

• Pollution from burning of woods in poor household
• Emissions by the factories
• Vehicular emission
• Dust in the environment
• Burning of fossil fuels
• Burning of plastics

Ways to reduce pollution are:-

• Air Quality checkers to be set up in the city
• Odd-Even policy by Delhi government is also a move that can be adopted by the local people.
• Use of energy efficient lights and bulbs
• Recycle and Reuse
• Banning of plastic bags

Air pollution is not a problem confined in a particular area, but a worldwide concern.

To curb this, many international laws and summit are taking place every year. We just need to contribute from our side to stop this.
