1. It is easy to recognise higher plants and animals by this system. But in case of lower organisms, it is not easy to say whether a organism is an animal or a plant. There are some examples of the organisms which shows both the Kingdom characteriatics and may be placed in any kingdom. Example; Euglena.

2. This two kingdom system also did not distinguish between eukaryotes and prokaryotes, unicellular and multicellular organisms and photisynthetic and non-photosynthetic organisms.
