Given :  Point p is on the circle ab is diameter of the circle ,

To Find : ∠apb

Solution:

ab is diameter of the circle ,

Hence ab divided circle in two equal arcs

ab divides circle in 2 semicircle

ab is a straight line and center lies on this

Hence aob  = 180°   where o is center of the circle

Angle made by an arc at center = 2 * angle made by remaining circle

Hence 180°  = 2 * apb

=> apb  = 90°
