Point P lies on a line segment AB. AP 4/7th of BP.

P lies at (-3, 15) and A lies at
(-11,7).

What are the coordinates of B?​

AP=4/7AB

7AP=4AB

7AP=4(AP +PB)

7AP=4AP+4PB

3AP=4PB

AP/PB=4/3

So...

AP:PB=4:3

So,value of m=4,n=3..

now x1=(-11) y1=(7)

and the point that divides it ,is (-3,15)

so now apply the formula

x,y=(mx2+mx1/m+n,my2+my1/m+n)
