Given:-
- XN = 3.2 cm
- BN = 4.2 cm
To find :-
- Length of XB
In Triangle BNX :-
- XN is perpendicular to BN so it is right angled triangle.
So, by Pythagoras theorem:-
⟹ (XB)² = (XN)² + (BN)²
⟹ (XB)² = (3.2)² + (4.2)²
⟹ (XB)² = 10.24 + 17.64
⟹ (XB)² = 27.88
⟹ XB = √27.88
⟹ XB = 5.28 ≈ 5.3 cm
⟹ XB = 5.3 cm
