Points arguing women are not empowered in our society

Women are still protrayed as people that help in the household and males as the ones that earn the money and have power over women in the media. Girls education is still declined to many and our society isn't doing anything to help. Women are definitely not empowered in our society and this because of society saying that women should not be loud and act like a lady, and men are able to do whatever... this is also protrayed in the media such as films where the male does the work and earns money and the women are expected to stay at home and look after the children. Men and Women should both have equal expectations from society, however women are protrayed as powerless.
