Given :  Points E and F are mid points of seg AB and seg AC of ∆ ABC respectively

EF = 5.6

To Find : the length of BC.

Solution:

∆ ABC

E and F are mid points of  AB and  AC

line joining the mid-point of two sides of a triangle is equal to half the length of the third side

=> EF = BC/2

EF = 5.6

=> 5.6 = BC/2

=> 11.2 = BC

=> BC = 11.2
