Given :  Points E, F, and D are located on circle C . Lines are drawn from points E and D to point F to form chords E F and D F. Arc E D is 68 degrees

To find:  What is the measure of angle EFD

Solution:

Let say Center of circle is O

Then ∠EOD = 68°   ( The measure of arc ED is 68° )

Angle made by ARC at center is Double than angle made  by another arc segment

=> ∠EOD = 2∠EFD

=> 68° = 2 (∠EFD)

=> ∠EFD  = 34°

the measure of angle EFD = 34°
