For conservation of our flora and fauna, our government takes several steps from time to time and these include the keeping a watch on wildlife in India. There are several forest service employee to see that no one exploit the resources that are protected. Also, government enacts the laws from time to time and here, I will provide below the key legislation made by government of India;
(a) The Wildlife (Protection), Act 1972: It is adopted by the sates and provide conservation and protection of endangered species.
(b) The Forest (Conservation) Act 1980: It was amended in 1988 and check on all forms of deforestation/diversion of forest land for other use.
