1. Garbage Dumping, which is also known as Landfill, are the sites for the disposal of waste materials.

2. It is the oldest as well as - the most common for of waste disposal.

3. a)This is how it works :

Each day, trash is compacted a cell in order to make the most of the space available in the landfill.

b) After that, heavy machinery like bulldozers and compaction equipment are used to compress the trash and place it in the landfill.

c)A six inch layer of dirt covers the cell after it's made and is then compacted once more.
