Let the number of children be x

• If 4/5 of children are boys,

        then girls =  1-4/5

                         =  1/5x

• 1/5x = 200

       x = 200 x 5

          = 1000 students

• Number of boys is 4/5x

        4/5 x 1000

       = 800 boys
