polar regions are the places where the temperature is decreased into freezing point.
they are different from any other places because we can see a lot of icebergs ... and the population is very less.... another one surprise is the water surface is cooled and get freezed. and the water below the ice is warmer than the ice above .so by that the aquatic life is possible there...... and we can have a pure and fresh water in the form of ice.... the animals like penguin, polar bear, snow rabbit, are so beautiful to see. so polar regions are very different compared to any other places .......

hopes it helps you mark it as brainliest.......

Polar regions are different from any other place because of many reasons. They have high altitudes due to which there is a huge amount/mass of snow and ice. The different animals have different adaptations for the cold climate of the region. The plants there have thick waxy coatings on them which helps the snow to slide down easily. They also have spines on leaves that help avoiding from snow clogging on them. Also due to the high altitudes, the rivers or streams become frozen, which moves very slowly, they ate called glaciers.
