called B.D.O. Ajoy Sengupta to the police station. Dinesh and Kangsha, being
summoned, were told that, it is a criminal offence to get a minor girl married
and were made to sign an affidavit that effect.
Praising Namita, the B.D.O. gifted her a set of dresses. “We will ensure that
there are no further hindrances to Namita continuing her studies. We will also
make arrangements for her to take computer lesson.​
