polio drops not given for children causing diarrhoea because when the children were causing diarrhoea there is no use of giving vaccine because the virus diarrohea will block the vaccine and send back in form of vomthing .

》Polio drops contain attenuated polio virus. a large proportion of this polio virus stays in intestine and proliferates &show it’s effect.

》If it is given during diarrhea, most of it will be thrown out fast, resulting in to lesser efficacy. So, we wait till diarrhea is over.

☆In diarrhea, gut motility is increased. Whatever is ingested, comes out quicker.
