The polio drop which is an oral vaccine may excrete out due to frequent loose motions. Diarrhoea is a disease which causes frequent loose motions in human body. The polio drop won't be effective on the child due to Diarrhoea as it may not be absorbed.

Answer:

Diarrhea at OPV receipt was associated with vaccine failure to poliovirus types 1 and 3 only after OPV2. These data support the current recommendation that children with diarrhea receive OPV and be reimmunized once their illness resolves.
