Speaking about authority we see that the holder of authority is empowered to do something or claim something. It means that authority, whatever may its nature be, is always based on legitimacy or law. So, it is said that the authority is not only legal but authorities claim is based on right. In other words, authority has full freedom to demand something. We can say that authority has freedom.

The coercive nature of a body can be termed as it's authority.

Power rule and authority are associated with all political organizations, as their prime goals.

All political parties want to have the power that will enable them in taking vital decisions in governance.

Political power is the ability of bringing changes in many social and personal aspects, with legalised permissions.

However, political interests often result in conflicts between the different political organizations, as they aim for achieving the supreme power in this field.
