Apart from economic and political impact, it fused India with fresh energy. There was a development of political consciousness in India after world war i. The soldiers that fought in Europe and survived, brought back new ideas in the country. The ideas that inspired the youth of the country to step up. Martyred soldiers provided the people with a sense of pride and infused self respect in them. It surely led to a more strong hold of britishers over Indian subcontinent, but the policies of britishers changed pragmatically. Indians were started to be given more chances in politics and administration of the country. So in all, it had a far reaching impact on Indian minds and hearts.
