Elections are all about political competitions. If there is no competition the election will become pointless. There are some merits and demerits.


✌️✌️Some Merits are :

☺️It is good to have a political competition because it gives the voters the full right to elect their own candidates.

☺️If there is no competition and there is only one political party then it is dictatorship, like Nazis in Germany, Baat party in Iraq, or Musharraf in Pakistan.

☺️In the next election, parties can prove that are better than the previous party.


✌️✌️Some Demerits are :

☺️It creates a sense of disunity and factionalism in every locality.
