a political party is collection of people of same ideology.Different political party then there would be different ideologies.different ideologies means different options for the people of the democratic government.if there is only one ideology then how one can choose.for example in China there is only one party Communist Party that means only one ideology i.e; only one option.Here you can say every time you are going to you will be voting the same party.Also there is no opposition party.Whether it is a government or life there is a neccessity of opposition,As the great saint Kabir Das once said that...'Nindak niyare rakhiye aangan kuti chhawaye;Bin sabun pani bina nirmal karat subhaye.'
So there is neccessity of political parties in a democratic government to raose the voice of each and every citizen of the country/state
