Yes,I agree with this statement. Because what the politicians are doing is just injustice and corruption...but politics have totally different aims to fulfill. They are elected by people to rule them according to their desire. But they are not at all having at least a look on the needs of people. Therefore, we can say that politics is more than what a politician can do.

It is right because politics is more than what politicians are actually doing. Politicians are interested in politics as a part of govt; however politics are not only about their work. Politics includes multitude of various negotiations wherein collective decisions are taken.
Explanation:
- Political strategy is the analysis of authoritative value allocation, as the distribution and usage of power. Politics is fundamentally concerned with power, leadership, influence, cooperation, conflicts, and so on.
- Politicians are active in politics as a member of the government but politics are not confined to their work. Politics include many discussions of community that include joint decision taking. It involves govt.'s action and their connection with people's aspirations. That involves people's struggles and their impact on decision-making.
- People engage in political activity through discussing and participating in group activities aimed at promoting socioeconomic development and addressing community problems.
- For instance, residents of localities form associations to resolve their problems and take these issues at higher level. Students form unions in universities and colleges to discuss and solve issues which impact the majority of them.
- Therefore, politics is involved in life's sphere which is associated with power, solving common problems, and collective decision-making.
