Air pollution may be defined as the presence of one or more pollutants/contaminants like dust ,smoke,mist,odour, suspended particulate matter (SPM)etc in the atmosphere which are injurious to human beings,plants and other animals or which unreasonably obstruct the comfortable enjoyment of life and property.
