f(x) =x^2 +8

g(x)=x^3+1

f(x)+g(x)=0

x^2 +8+x^3+9=0

x^3+x^2+9=0

x^2(x+1)+9=0

x+1+9=0

x= - 10

g(x)-f(x)=0

X^3+1-x^2-8=0

x^3-x^2-7=0

x^2(x-1)-7=0

x-1-7=0

x=8
