15. If p(x) = x® - 5x² + 4x – 3 and g(x) = x - 2, show that p(x) is not a multiple
of g(x).​

x-2=0

x=2

By the remainder theorem,we know that when p(x) is divided by (x-2)then the remainder is p(2)

p(x)=x^3-5x^2+4x-3

p(2)=2^3-5×2^2+4×2-3

=8-5×4+8-3

=8-20+5

=-7
