Answer:

We first write the equation as

6x² - 7x - 3 = 0.

On splitting the middle term

6x² - 9x + 2x -3 = 0

3x(2x - 3) + 1(2x-3) = 0

(3x + 1)(2x - 3) = 0

Thus, x = -1/3, x = 3/2

Verification:

To verify

Sum of zeroes = -b/a

L.H.S = -1/3 + 3/2                    R.H.S= -(-7/6)

         = -2 + 9/6                               = 7/6

         = 7/6

                  L.H.S = R.H.S

Also, product of zeroes = c/a

L.H.S = (-1/3)(3/2)                       R.H.S = -3/6

         = -1/2                                          = -1/2

                          L.H.S = R.H.S

Hence, the relationship is verified.
