Polystelic stem is seen in C) Selaginella.
Selaginella are vascular plants of the genus Selaginellaceae. They are creeping plants with scale like leaves. They are mostly present in the tropical regions in both sides of the hemisphere.
They have an unique character is that they can dehydrate under dry conditions by uprooting and rolling whereas they can again rehydrate and form a lush moist green growth under favourable conditions that promote growth.
