As polythene is non biodegradable so it causes environmental pollution which further causes several diseases in animals and humans thus the use of polythene bags is discouraged.

Substances which are biodegradable in nature gets decomposed and degraded into simpler substance in less span of time. On the other hand substances such as polythene bags are non-biodegradable and thus they remain in the environment for long span of time. is it right
