So,

The total fraction of money Pooja had spent = $\frac{1}{8} + \frac{3}{5} = \frac{5 + 24}{40} = \frac{29}{40}$

∴ The remaining fraction of money left with Pooja = $1 - \frac{29}{40} = \frac{40 - 29 }{40} = \frac{11}{40}$

But we are given that Pooja was initially given ₹ 300 by her mother of which she had spent.

∴ Money left with Pooja is,

= $\frac{11}{40}\times 300$

= $\frac{11}{2} \times 15$

= $\frac{165}{2}$

= $\bold{Rs. \:82.50}$

Thus, money left with Pooja is Rs. 82.50.
