Answers
Answer:
The big five factors of poverty (as a social problem) include: ignorance, disease, apathy, dishonesty and dependency. These, in turn, contribute to secondary factors such as lack of markets, poor infrastructure, poor leadership, bad governance, under-employment, lack of skills, lack of capital, and others
Answer:
The four contributory factors to social problems both locally as well as globally are as follows:
1. Gender discrimination- discrimination between male and female leads to gross problems in every sphere and this hampers overall development.
2. Huge population growth- India is going to bear China soon to become the highest populated country, thus leading to further problems such as financial constraints, lack of job opportunities, etc.
3. Poverty and illiteracy- This arises mainly due to overpopulation in which people do not get the required education and thereby suffers later. Also, poverty becomes a barrier to education.
4. Religious oppression and racism- Racism is a worldwide problem and seen in countries like USA, Africa, etc. and this also affects the growth and development of a country.
