POPULATION EDUCATION:

Population education can be defined as a process of developing awareness and understanding of the population situation among people and making them more responsible towards managing the population. Population education makes people aware of population-related issues.

The Concept of Population Education was introduced by professor S. R. Wayland of Columbia University in 1935.

Human Resources is divided into two categories Quantitative features and Qualitative features.

Quantitative features are subdivided into four categories: -

• Population Density

• Growth of population

• Population Structure

Qualitative features are subdivided into two categories: -
