Population of town before 1 year(P) = 60000
Present Population of town(A) = 75000
Time(n) = 1 year
Let the percentage increase be r%
A.T.Q,
A = P(1+r/100)^n
75000=60000(1+r/100)^1
or 75000/60000=1+r/100
or 5/4= 100+r/100
or 500=400+4r
or 4r= 100
or r= 25
Therefore tge increase in percentage of population in a year is 25%
Present Population of town(A) = 75000
