Population of a town increases by 2% in 2017, decreases by 5% in 2018 due to migration and again increases by 10% in 2019. If the population of the town in 2016 was 90000, find the (i) population of the town at the beginning of 2018 (ii) population of the town at the end of 2019.

 = 90000 \times  \frac{102}{100}  \\  = 91800

(ii) population of the town at the end of 2019

 = 90000 \times  \frac{102}{100} \times  \frac{95}{100}  \times  \frac{110}{100}  \\  = 95931
