ii. Arragon was obliged by the oath to obey:-

a. Never to talk to a lady in the way of marriage. (meaning He can never marry any other girl)

b. Never disclose anyone which casket he choose.

c. If he chooses wrong casket he will return without saying a word.

iii. The golden casket says, "who choosenth me shall gain what many men desire".

iv. Arragon finally choose silver casket. In that casket he found the portrait of a blinking idiot. The lead casket actually contains portia's portrait.
